Both Model S have over 100,000 miles in the odometer and their battery degradation is only 3-4% in the case of the 70D and around 8% in the case of the P85+. Not bad! The video compares these two ‘vintage’ models in terms of how well they’ve aged.

Feynlabβs DIY products follow a regimen: Preparation, Protection, Maintenance. First Prepare the paint by washing with Pure Wash, followed by Panel Prep to remove any residual oil or contaminants. Then Protect your Tesla using Ceramic Lite - the easiest coating to apply. Then Maintain the coating with Pure Wash, and if you want that extra touch of protection, follow it up with Ceramic Spray Sealant every couple of months.

FSD with MCU1 doesn’t display cones or trash cans but it does display stop signs and stoplights. I personally didn’t know that, I thought it would stop at stop signs and traffic lights but just not display the icons in my MCU1 screen. Good to know, and thanks for sharing Zack! I’m next! I got the FSD retrofit in my Model S 2017 with AP2.5 and MCU1 on Tuesday and I almost cried when I saw my first stop sign π

Notifications can be found under the service menu and show all active and past alerts. Or when you tap a new alert, you’re able to see past ones. This seems to be a new enhancement, or I personally had not seen it until now.

Tesla is aiming to start deliveries of their Cybertruck in 2021 but they are not the only ones. The electric version of the iconic brand Hummer is scheduled for 2022 (some suggest it may arrive earlier) and a bunch of other car manufacturers are planning on joining as well (Mercedes-Benz EQA, BMW iNEXT, Volkswagen ID.4, and Nissan Ariya). Thank you, Tesla, for pushing the market, looking forward to seeing how the SUV and truck EV market evolves.

The Model Y was delivered on Jun 6th, a deep blue metallic Performance version (without the added Performance Upgrade) in Vancouver. It seems like more and more Model Y reservation holders in Canada are being contacted by Tesla asking for registration, trade-in, and payment details. We’re keeping our π€f or you!

Germany has recently announced they’re planning on forcing petrol stations to provide electric car charging as well. They are committed to making the EV numbers go up and they are starting by trying to reduce range anxietyanxiety- they have identified that 97% of the reason why people aren’t buying electric cars is range anxiety. Germany is also planning on investing 2.5 billion euros on battery cell production and charging infrastructure.
