We’ve been waiting to get the FSD upgrade for a while (Model S, Dec 2017). Tesla recently released a support page that throws some light to frequently asked questions such as, ‘when’s my FSD upgrade going to be available?’.

Remember that trick to open the frunk with the 12V power supply? After a recent update of the owner’s manual, it seems that Tesla fixed this problem and now is only possible if the 12V battery is dead- at least for the Model 3 and the Model Y. This is great news since it makes our frunkโs a really safe place. I always try not to leave valuables in the car, but if I have to, I’m definitely going to store them in the frunk.

Great to see more and more cases of owners happy with their experience at a Service Center. Our experiences have always been pretty good, but we know the waiting times in some places are less than ideal so it’s good to see things are improving one service appointment at a time.

Shutting down the Fremont and New York factories due to the Coronavirus outbreak is for sure going to affect Tesla’s Q1 and most likely also Q2 production and sales numbers. However, they are still allowed to use a small workforce at the Fremont factory and Tesla is planning on making upgrades to the production lines which would increase the Model Y production capacity.

Itโs well known that Tesla has been trying to improve the vehicle delivery experience, especially at the end of the quarter when things get crazy. That is why Tesla has started two new ways of delivering cars, Express Delivery and Tesla Direct Drop. Tesla Direct Drop is completely touchless which is convenient given the current state of affairs.
