On November 10, 2021, at 10:00 pm EST (7:00 pm PST), Jay Leno’s Garage will be airing the footage of the Tesla Model S Plaid officially setting the record as the fastest production car over the 1/4 mile.
Last weekend, Tesla started delivering the first batch of refreshed Model X. According to the reports, they all are 6 seaters and most (all?) have white paint. This car is gorgeous, I can’t wait to see it in real life.
By collecting data from the millions of vehicles in their fleet and replicating real-world crash scenarios, Tesla is able to engineer one of the safest vehicles on the road. This isn’t new, Tesla’s top 1 priority has always been safety, but this video from their crash labs shows some of their efforts to achieve that and make it possible that every Tesla ranks at the top of most safety tests out there.

We mentioned the adapter getting released in South Korea one or two Tesletters ago and we wished for Tesla to release it in the USA. Tesla Charging official Twitter account confirmed this week that the adapter will be available in North America soon 🎉.
It seems that Tesla is now offering only one month of free premium connectivity when you buy a new Model 3 or Y. It used to be a whole year for Long Range and Performance Model 3 and Ys.
💡 Tip of the week
Teslas with the premium interior option, you can now go into your sound settings (tap on the settings icon when you expand the music player) and select Immersive Sound to Auto for a better sound experience.
🤓 What the acronym?
As Tesla fan I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
- CCS - Combined Charging System
- FSD - Full Self-Driving
- KWh - Kilowatts per hour
