On November 10, 2021, at 10:00 pm EST (7:00 pm PST), Jay Lenoโs Garage will be airing the footage of the Tesla Model S Plaid officially setting the record as the fastest production car over the 1/4 mile.
Last weekend, Tesla started delivering the first batch of refreshed Model X. According to the reports, they all are 6 seaters and most (all?) have white paint. This car is gorgeous, I can’t wait to see it in real life.
By collecting data from the millions of vehicles in their fleet and replicating real-world crash scenarios, Tesla is able to engineer one of the safest vehicles on the road. This isn’t new, Tesla’s top 1 priority has always been safety, but this video from their crash labs shows some of their efforts to achieve that and make it possible that every Tesla ranks at the top of most safety tests out there.

Our friends from Teslascope found code in the newest version of the Tesla app that suggests that you will be able to view live cameras from the app and, wait for it, speak directly via your mobile phone, probably using the pedestrian warning system.
By looking at the screen, it seems that we should be able to change the camera that we are viewing by tapping on the dots on the screen. Cool!
This is an interesting idea, I wonder how easy is to keep the 100 scores and if they would keep the score by calendar month or some other way. Would you sign up for something like this?
This Friday, Tesla plans to extend the FSD Beta to all cars with 99 and 100 safety scores. From what I’ve seen this week, if you get 100, Tesla send you FSD Beta soon after.
We mentioned the adapter getting released in South Korea one or two Tesletters ago and we wished for Tesla to release it in the USA. Tesla Charging official Twitter account confirmed this week that the adapter will be available in North America soon ๐.
It seems that Tesla is now offering only one month of free premium connectivity when you buy a new Model 3 or Y. It used to be a whole year for Long Range and Performance Model 3 and Ys.
Teslas with the premium interior option, you can now go into your sound settings (tap on the settings icon when you expand the music player) and select Immersive Sound to Auto for a better sound experience.
As Tesla fan I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
