2020.40.7 has introduced an improved efficiency change that gives Model Y owners ~10 extra miles after installing this version (without being plugged) just because of the update. That’s my kind of update π
Check out this Model Y transformation video with full XPEL Paint Protection Film and Feynlab ceramic coating to really keep this fresh off the lot Model Y clean and protected. Looking for a Feynlab installer in your area?
This list of updates is coming directly from a Tesla sales rep. Check it out: a power liftgate, black trim (A.K.A. chrome delete), USB-C ports in the glovebox, and more.

As promised, the FSD Beta arrived yesterday night to the cars of some lucky Tesla owners. In this fun video, @tesla_raj and John from @teslaownerssv recorded their first impressions. Musk hasn’t even waited for 24h to share that the price of FSD is going up. Next Monday, the FSD price will go up by $2,000. Finally, here’s a recapΒ where you can see a few more videos as well as the recap. Enjoy!
Interesting thread about the FSD rewrite. The main thing is without the rewrite, FSD cannot take unprotected turns in an intersection because it cannot build an accurate representation of the layout. Karpathy shared all about it earlier this year, I’m re-sharing the video here in case you missed it.
I know folks have been missing the radio with the MCU retrofit, if that’s your case, we have good news. Tesla is going to offer the MCU 2 upgrades without losing the radio. Tesla’s MCU2 FAQs clearly state that starting in Q4 2020 there will be a ‘Radio Upgrade’ to retain access to FM radio and Sirius XM radio.
Since I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who likes reading about range consumption by Tesla’s different features, here’s some data shared by a 2020 Model 3 LR owner π€
A pretty cool time-lapse video that shows the installation of a Tesla Solar Roof over 4 days in one minute. If you’re thinking about getting solar (roof or panels) and we have been helpful in any way, please consider using our referral code http://ts.la/ignacio9266 to get $100 of credit.
As Tesla fan I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
