Live streaming of the event, which took place last December 1st in Berlin, and another great interview with Elon Musk. Another (3rd) interview of Elon by Alex Fridman. The interview covers a lot of ground, Tesla and non-Tesla related. Here are some interesting bits that are Tesla related:
- There is a major effort to reduce end-to-end latency and variability in latency from image sensor inputs to control outputs.
- In the future, the system will consume raw outputs from the image sensors.
- Some parts of the systems are still operating on single cameras, those are in the process of being replaced by cameras of all cameras.
- Tesla is working on improving ’the memory’ of the system, aka what the car saw just a few seconds ago.
The second interview with Elon Musk by Lex Fridman. This, as the first part, is a really interesting interview to peek a bit on Elon’s head and see how he thinks about AI, Autopilot, and Neuralink, amongst other interesting things!
The folks at Third Row Tesla Podcast had the chance to interview Elon Musk in person a couple of weeks ago. As you may or may not know, we normally don’t include articles about Elon’s personal life in this newsletter but in this case, we’re making an exception. If like us, you’re passionate about Tesla, I’m sure you’ll enjoy listening to Elon Musk sharing his story and why he put everything on the like to build SpaceX and Tesla.
Interesting interview to Elon and Todd Howard (The Elder Scrolls, Fallout) about games and Tesla. This interview includes a first look at Cuphead and Beach Buggy Racing 2 running on a Model 3. If you are into games at all, I recommend you to check it out!
BTW, Tesla just announced their event ‘Experience the Tesla Arcade’ in all showroooms from now until the end of the month. You can bring your friends and family to a Tesla showroom to experience the new Tesla Arcade by RSVPing here. From issue #64
Ryan McCaffrey, from the podcast Ride The Lightning, had the opportunity to interview Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen. This is rare since Franz doesn’t normally give many interviews and Ryan did a great job at interviewing him (you can tell his full-time job is interviewing people). Listen to it if you haven’t done it yet!#82
