Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin has introduced a new modern lobby that merges futuristic design with functionality. This space, open to the public, features a Tesla Model Y on display, neon lights, and metallic touches, creating a visually engaging environment. The lobby includes a robotic ‘bartender’ capable of pouring beer and preparing coffee, adding a unique touch to the visitor experience.
A recently leaked photo of the Tesla Cybertruck bed revealed it contains three power outlets: two 110-volt and one 220-volt outlet, the latter designed as a NEMA 14-50 socket. This feature, which supports charging another Tesla or powering high-power tools in the field, aligns with Elon Musk’s promise about the Cybertruck being the most practical truck out there.
Leaked specifications of the Tesla Cybertruck have surfaced ahead of its imminent first deliveries, shedding light on the vehicle’s size and other features. These details, revealed in a YouTube video and allegedly obtained from an unnamed Tesla insider, suggest that the Cybertruck closely matches the dimensions of full-size trucks currently on the market. While the authenticity of these leaked specifications cannot be fully confirmed, they are consistent with previously known information about the Cybertruck and resemble the type of internal documents used for service technician training or marketing preparations near a vehicle’s launch.
If you entered the lottery, make sure to check your inbox and spam folder. If you were one of the ones who received an invite, consider inviting other Tesla enthusiasts to the event. Sadly, I can’t attend this time due to a family situation, but I hope everyone enjoys the event!
To prevent people from buying a Cybertruck and then reselling it for profit, Tesla has introduced a new clause in their terms and conditions. This clause states that the Cybertruck cannot be resold within the first year of purchase. If you wish to resell it for some reason, you need to notify Tesla and allow them the option to repurchase the vehicle from you at a discounted rate, depending on the miles driven and wear and tear.
Nice video demonstrating how the ambient light selection works in the new Model 3 Highland.
If you, like many of us, are affected by the bad odor in your Model 3 or Model Y, this video discusses a moisture issue in the car’s cabin caused by aggressive air intake through a duct with a drainage port. It suggests removing the duct to allow water to pass through completely. The video also recommends adding an aftermarket gasket to prevent water from windshield wipers from entering, proposes software adjustments by Tesla to slow down the wipers and air intake fan during rain, and emphasizes the importance of using car wash mode to prevent the fan from inadvertently pulling in moisture.
As Tesla fan I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
