This is part of our 100 issue celebration publication where we pay tribute to the Tesla community by sharing just a few of the stories that brought us all here.
Hi, my name is Nancy and I have a Model 3 and a Model S called Easy and Nikola.
The first time I drove a Tesla...
We got our first Tesla in 2014, a Model S. What I remember most is the great sense of safety. I was surrounded by the strength of the frame and body, so knew I would be safe if someone ran into me. I loved the feel of the weight and being planted on the road and the knowledge that if I needed to get out of a bad spot I could 'put it where I wanted it' imeediately.
Favorite thing about my car
My favorite thing about my Model 3 is Autopilot. Rather than being tense looking straight ahead and trying to keep the car in the lane, I am surrounded by twenty sensors and relaxed. Highway driving is a pleasure.
Least favorite thing about my car
My least favorite thing is that it is hard for me to pull the trunk lid back down since I am only 4 11 and it is hard to reach. Feels primitive, compared to 2016 Model 2016 Model S, but I realize the need for keeping costs down.
I wish my Tesla had...
There is nothing in particular I wish the car had. It's just fun to wait and see what surprises are downloaded.
My favorite accessory
'My car updates' tee shirt
My second favorite accessory
Nikola Tesla 'Fuck Edison' tee shirt
If I could ask Elon Musk one question, that would be...
How soon can we have Battery and Drive Train Day?
For the Mission, the technology, the quality, the silliness, the safety, the community and immediate good friends. For the Joy of Tesla.
