Tesla has started rolling a out a new version, 2020.16, which contains some nice new improvements apart from bug fixes. The main changes are:
- Dashcam Viewer improvements
- Redesigned UI of the toy box (see video below)
- Ability to filter charging stations by power (not listed in the release notes)
- Improvements to Backgammon Game

Dashcam Viewer improvemements
2020.16 introduces the ability to format USB drives in the car. This is one step less that Tesla owners have to figure out by themselves when setting up a USB drive or erasing clips from it. Just rembember that when formatting the USB drive all existing videos will be erased.
If you don’t have a USB drive yet, we recommend one from PureTesla.
Redesigned UI of the toy box
This is quite a significant change, I think it makes it easier to navigate the increasing number of things getting added to the toy box. Check out the video:
2020.16 update just started being rolled out and there isn’t a lot of information about it just yet. We’ll keep updating this article as we learn more about it.
